I got into photography seriously at art college, producing fine art prints and exhibitions. This passion grew and later, I became a director of The Exeter Darkroom – a charitable organisation to provide facilities for photographers and classes for people with learning difficulties.
Alongside that, I was director of The Art Haven project. This was an artist led initiative, with funding from the Arts Council, towards renting redundant spaces owned by Exeter City council. We devised a program of regional exhibitions, workshops, classes, school involvements, talks, performances and retails outlets. I was responsible for coordinating all communications & marketing. I devised the brand, website and marketing materials.
I then became more established as a commercial photographer, relocating to Hampshire. I worked for various advertising & design agencies, Image Source & Getty Images, as well as a diverse range of private clients.
I have since moved to Rutland and love the openness of the countryside – big skies, the Resi, as well as neighbouring cities.
I also have a love for music and play bass in our band. I love to work with musicians, to providing creative images that gel with their music.
